The Story.

Tonani Caterina and Betti Bruno: Audio Ohm’s love story.

Their story begins about 40 years ago in a basement, where love, passion and ingenuity made the birth of Audio Ohm possible.

1983

Year of foundation. Audio Ohm s.n.c is founded by Bruno Betti with headquarters in Maiocca di Codogno (Lo). The first years of hard work are spent in the basement producing resistors for car radios. Hence the name AUDIO and OHM.

1985

Beginning to operate in the automotive components industry, slowly specializing in the production of fuse valves and electromechanical components by opening its first plant.

1990

Audio Ohm s.n.c. immediately invests in R&D, receiving an Award from the Milan Chamber of Commerce for innovative fuse technology for the automotive industry.

1995

Audio Ohm s.n.c. receives its first quality award from Vimercati s.p.a.

2001

In the course of time, Audio Ohm s.n.c. has gradually expanded its boundaries by offering its products in Europe and finding an excellent response in the German automotive market, enabling it to become a direct supplier of the original equipment of the most important European car manufacturers.

2004

Audio Ohm s.n.c. becomes Audio Ohm s.r.l.. In the same year it is awarded by the Province and the Chamber of Crafts for excellence in family-owned medium-sized business.

2008

Collaborations with the University of Munich begin with the aim of investing in new technologies.

2015

Headquarters expansion: a new warehouse is established for preparing shipments and storing finished products.

2019

An area of 4,000 square meters is acquired in the municipality of Terranova dei Passerini (Lo) to become a Remote Location in which new administrative offices, a new production department and a storage warehouse will be built.

2023

The Remote Location in Terranova dei Passerini officially becomes operational.
